Peter,
Kaisers comparison to Tli Kwi Cho only serves to highlight his ignorance. There is no meaningful comparison. The pipe he refers to was fairly rich in bort from the samples I saw. I seem to remember RTZ spending $50 million on an underground bulk sample. THE BIGGEST PROMOTERS OF TLI KWI CHO WERE KAISER AND BISHOP. As a funny little anecdote, I remember Bishop doing the DHK mantra at one of the Gold Shows many years ago...San Franscisco if I recall correctly. He got people in attendance whipped into such a frenzie, that even before he was done talking, people were leaving the room and lining up at the pay phones to make buy orders with their brokers.
regards,
teevee

Hi Peter........the reference implied by Kaiser to the Tli Kwi Cho bust is that " You shouldn't count your chickens until they are hatched" or don't get too excited until you see the results of the 6000 ton bulk. That was 1994.....this is 1999....really no comparison between the two except they were both looking for diamonds in Canada. Tli Kwi Cho being an area name attached to a syndicate of three exploration companies...Dentonia Resources, Horseshoe Gold and Kettle River..thusly "DHK" they did the normal diamond drilling etc, hit a pipe....... and came up with moderate micro/macro counts.......everyone including Bishop, analysts letter writers all freaked and were calling it the find of the century...they did a mini bulk (I believe 2000 tons) and it was a bust.......poor diamond counts. The various stocks went from around 6 bucks to about .60 cents and caused all diamond explorers, investors, speculators, players etc to blink in a very big way..........I was there with DHK and Aber......got slammed on all four.........but made all my money back and then some on Aber later on........DHK never performed 1/10th the work Wsp has put into this play...but then that wasn't the norm then.......if this was 1994 Wsp would be trading probably around 15 to 20 dollars ...possibly higher... Tli Kwi Cho, Bre-X, savvy market, internet , etc totally different landscape today versus then........that is why the advantage goes to the old timers who have been around the diamond jrs for awhile, they can pretty much see thru all the smoke and mirrors put up by all the hypers, shorters, scammers and general mental cases like AJ, well meaning but feverish zealots like Charters, TA freaks like John Packrat and all the other wierdos that post here at Winspear Place...(myself excluded of course, I'm normal) something can be learned from almost every post, every thing must be read and gone over to become familiar with the play.....I was in the diamond plays long before I ever heard of the name George Tromp but I will tell you this...he gave me the best advice I've ever received...."Follow the Story" "Know the Geology" "Follow the Story".......... I always pay attention to Khanna because he is very deliberate and cautioned towards his analysis.....Bishop is too political, GreenlandÓ proved that.........Kaiser says a lot and speaks well but he was big on the Alberta play and that speaks volumes......I have to listen real close to guys like Tromp, teevee, Vaughn, Taz, Walt, Des, Maintenance, Fixer, and others that IÕm forgetting at the moment......these guys all know more than the average guy about their particular speciality....it really is too bad weÕve lost GT here at Winspear Place, he was most colorful and informative, however itÕs just about over now except for the singing so no great loss at this time.........the really important question that I have is ...who is the next Winspear....???? all of the above is just so much Saturday afternoon bullshit...do your own DD and you too can make a fortune.........itÕs easy......just pay attention...and follow the story.
