For myself, I'd like to see another few quarters, more excellent products, and a HUGE stock price before any buyout. But we are on the way, aren't we?

<<potential takeover target>> L.Ellison (ORCL) considered it when AAPL
was in the 10-15 range. Guess he may be kicking himself for his fail-
ure to execute. Jobs probrably wants to keep it to himself now that
he has come full circle. Think I also heard that SUNW had designs on
the co. but that was way back when too.

Who do you see as a potential suitor? If there is reason to discuss takeover possibilities, let's start there.

Disney? Possible. The company may want to expand into non-cyclical manufacturing of consumer goods, but I doubt it.

Oracle? The window of opportunity here has past. Look again in about 2 years.

Microsoft? Justice Department block.

Motorola? Possible. It would be a step toward vertical integration for the company. But Motorola has enough problems with their own product line.

IBM? Now here's a possibility worth considering. Picture IBM's product line enhanced by the addition of Apple's product line and what kind of milage IBM could get out of OS X.

Sony? Naaah.

Mitsubishi?

Toyota?

AT&T?

Yahoo?

Who?
