Ebrokers: I've heard people, in disgust, summarize it like this:

Markets are open from 9:30 - 4:00
XYZ broker is open from 11 - 3
and you won't have problems.

I think if you're serious about daytrading,
you need to get an internet based, not web based broker.
There are many broker reviews available, threads here on SI too.

Robert (on-line broker question) - I use Jack White. $25 a trade on line, but I have yet to have a problem. Perhaps a bit higher price keeps their volume down compared to an ETrade, and maybe you just do get what you pay for.

Lon AOL, an now that January options are past, I look for it to resume upward movement.
