here is a fact many of you may find interesting. A lot of folks frequently say that aol is slow. I have used a 56k modem for 3 years and I never felt that way personally. Last week I started adsl service and use the backdoor for aol entry to get to this page. Today, I decided to use my other isp, which is cincinnati bell, the company providing me my adsl connection. I have not noticed any increase in speed and in fact several times it was noticably slower. For those that say aol is slower, you might consider that it is the way you have yoyur computer configured, and not aol. My experience is clearly a positive one when comparing against competitors state of the art technology. Oddly enough I think many of the complainers who are anti-aol, just may not know how to use a simple system properly and try to make it more complex than it is, hence, slowing the service.
