For supposedly being a lawyer, you are pretty loose and glib with your words.

the following statement is quite a semantic gymnastic and infers just from reading a few paragraphs.

"The whole racket is to collect money WITHOUT work"

The word "racket" also has negative connotations...

You've also quite convoluted your original argument to now meet the most current contingency.

However, more important there is another inference in your prior post that really makes me question further whether or not you are a corporate lawyer because your inferences are so blatantly irresponsible that a corporate lawyer wouldn't make them because he'd understand the potential liability.

Per my post I stated

Message 7301714

"...As for the Board of Directors, people of that stature don't wily nilly join Boards of companies. All of these directors have reputations to maintain. Rep's in the business world coincide with higher compensation. You don't sacrifice them for some fly by night up start. Plus the simple rule in the world of business (though not always true) is that past accomplishments are a good barometer of future success. Rare Medium's directors. CEo and personal are very VERY impressive..."

Per your retort, you stated

Message 7306115

"...Struggling or substanceless companies often try to add prestige by adding big names. Hey, I'm a corporate lawyer, I know that strategy. The directors attend a few meetings, get well paid, and that's it. It doesn't mean the company will succeed. Lots of failed companies have prestigious boards. By itself it doesn't mean much...."

Per this post, are you saying that "Rare Medium is a "..struggling or
substanceless.." company trying "...to add prestige by adding big names..."

A simple yes or no will do.

To me, and I believe any jury, the obvious answer is yes. This is the explicit inference of your statement. I don't see any other possible interpretation of your words especially in light of your other posts on this thread.

Now, as a lawyer, you should also know the ramifications of the subsequent sentence "....Hey, I'm a corporate lawyer, I know that strategy..." Sounds pretty impressive, if you weren't responding to another attorney maybe I too would of been impressed. However as a "corporate attorney", you should know the distinctions between what constitutes "opinion" and what constitutes libel. And you should also know that as a "professional" making such claims to add legitimacy to your position has even greater consequence, especially with the lack of a presentation and,in spite, of a large amount of evidence that contradicts your statements.

Therefore, I request that you immediately provide me with substantiation for your claims by direct inference that Rare Medium Corp. is a "struggling or substanceless" company trying "...to add prestige by adding big names..."

Failure to respond will be construed that you do not disagree with my assertion that your words constitute libel.

Furthermore, I am forwarding the contents of your posts to Rare Medium's legal council, so I strongly suggest that you cease and desist from any further posts immediately.

Failure to cease and desist, as you should be well aware as a "corporate lawyer", can have potential adverse legal consequence as to your future viability.

Sincerely,

ztect
