Moose: A Visionary Super post Moose!!! I feel the same way as you! Are we ahead of our time? I can't wait to get cable! UMG up here in Cow Hampshire! But UMG says it's a problem with the box makers ie. dell, micron, gateway that won't let me free up an IRQ! I have '98 BTW. When I call my box maker, they tell me that '98 comes with IRQ's to that can be set-up for multiple devicing. So we're going round & round but I've ordered a sound card that will free up an IRQ for me!!! BTW, I log on & 53.33bps and It bites badly! Over at my buddies house where he has cable, IT IS IMPRESSIVE!!! I am PSYCHED! ADSL costs a fortune up here to install not to mention .03cents/min! I've had great success day trading but don't dare now because of the broker I use presently! Anyway, having the box makers build in technology that would just let me call my cable CO. and tell them to turn on my internet connection is a great idea!!! Maybe it will be ATHM's next wave????
