Trippi,

The options explanation seems to be the only thing that would reasonably explain AKLM's movement.
The CEO also made a statement that their outlook for the year is "cautious" so that may have played a part too.
The long term technical profile is still pointing to 20 and in a few days I'll be better able to reconstruct a road map for the short term. For now it seems safe to say that the 11 13/16 magnet will be the first major objective.

Trippi,

On Thursday close, I looked at the open interest on both the January 10 calls and puts. I don't know much about options, but the numbers were hardly "a ton." The calls were in three figures, and the puts were in the low four figures. Also, a 9 7/8 close wouldn't earn a put any money, would it? Don't you also have to account for the premium by expiration to be in the money?
