No, because whatever the number was for December, it's already accounted for by the Q1 report and unit shipment #'s.

Now that the Rev C multicolored iMacs are out (MacMall apparently just got some in, FWIW), the status of the iMac on those retail charts will become much more important. To just maintain the #3 position would in my view successfully contradict those worried about Q2 performance.

I asked this on Raging Bull to no answer: Will the different SKU's of the multiple colors and the difference between the Rev B and Rev C mean that the iMac will be treated as multiple models? i.e., will PC Data rank THE iMac or the bondi iMac, the tangerine iMac, the . . .

Now consider the 28% margins over the last quarter. It would have been better for Apple to drop the price of the iMac to $1199 before the holiday season and maintain their number one sales ranking.

Instead they chose to squeeze a few more dollars from costumers, just like the Apple of old.
