Most of the holders of Microsoft stocks are long term investors. With the total
shares outstanding , Microsoft's average daily trading volume should be much higher than
15 MM shares. That is why , it is hard to beat down the stock. Besides, whenever there is a dip, there are always new investors jump into this stock , and its support is always strong.

Bill, It appears the cash is out there! On light late day volume, a lot
may have been done during the last week to load up on more and more January,
February etc. call options. The next day someone says---"MSFT down again --lets
dump the stock and get something else". In effect the big players are getting
some help using this tactic. I want to see something like this happen on CSCO
late January.

BTW I read Cramer's afternoon column today (rewrite)---it appears he
has dumped AOL and
Yahoo (these were his favorites). It appears he is holding on to the
biggies, MSFT and INTEL. This guy can easily use his column to his
benefit by disclosing his holdings (we are able to determine what he
has sold off just by reading a previous column). I still like his
investing (trading) stock picks.
