Hutch,
You have your opinion and I have mine. For better or worse, I spend a great deal of time trying to sort things out for myself and the Cafe members. I put out that commentary for the members and am exhausted by the time I get out it out there. Your questions are fair and well put, but too much for me to rehash here.
In previous Midas du Metropole commentary I said the dollar would be "stoned". I have an old thread on the SI site called Dollar/Yen Ambush?, which you can go back and check out. The yen was at 145 and I called for an ambush by our fed and predicted 125 before 150. Martin Armstrong was calling for 250 dollar yen at the time. At the time, most everyone was bullish on the dollar. I was not and was proved correct. The proof is in the pudding and you can check the pudding.
As far as the future, Goldman Sachs just said the dollar has to go down. Goldman Sachs is Rubin. I just happen to agree with Goldman Sachs for a change.
Check in after a few months. Gold should be much, much higher than. Silver should be at least $6 and the dollar should be in the toilet.
I am on record here for you and this record cannot be erased. If I am wrong, I will curtzy ( sp ) to you and say you were right, not me.
Have a nice weekend,

Bill

"It's only a matter of years before a world currency is created, and gold will be liquidated from all CB."

You are starting to scare me, Hutch.

*Who would be given the authority to issue this "world currency"?
*Why would other nations with less than friendly relations with this controlling nation or organization accept such a "world currency"?

The world may look peaceful on the surface, but there is much conflict.......I don't think that we will see a world currency any time soon.
