I think that we are in even closer agreement than you suppose, then,
and I believe that it is quite feasible to go a lot further than
even choosing from a huge number of prepared choices if the incentive
is there. It may not be for cars or anything I've yet thought of,
although I think that there is an intersection of interest and
difficulty at the level of things like furniture and handtools.

My real point, as I've said before, is that ultimately it won't just
be that people order the stuff they could get at WalMart or by looking
at the catalog at the furniture store, and that this change will be
more pervasive than altering inventory management for existing firms.
