Did you listen to Abby Cohen's speech on Friday? It's on the MSNBC site. She compares the economic value added in Japan since 1989 or so. No surprise that value has been destroyed in japan and that's been reflected in the price of the stocks. At first is was a crash in the speculative issues. Later it covered most all other the decline.
