MB ... I'm talking about the value of AAPL, not a preference for Macs. Do you feel its a better debate when you respond "the company you wuv with all your heart". The stock has more than doubled this past year and will double again.

I don't see $499 Dells either. And AAPL value is not just about iMac. I've gave you some basis valuation measures, and your answer is that the product is too expensive? Should AAPL be worth less than 1x sales? Less than 15 p/e? You are quick to criticize analysts, but you have the same blinders on, in this case.

What fuzziness! Does this mean Apple specifically or the market? this year or next century? Take a stand!

I am in agreement with most of what is said philosophically on this thread, but I'm starting to think that the depth of analysis on specific companies is very poor.
