I recently completed a brief statistical analysis on three indicators: MACD, stoch., and OBV-%. As promised, here are the results:

Bert, here's a scan for 21 day OBV highs, that should get you started:

1. Start explorer and click "New..."
2. name the exploration, for example "OBV 21day high"
3. type "Close" in "Col. Name "
4. type "C" in the formula field (gives you the recent close)
5. click on the tab "Col B", enter "OBV" in "Col. Name" and "obv()" in the formula field
6. click the "Col C" tab, type "OBVhigh" and "HHV(OBV(),21)"
(returns the highest OBV value for the last 21 periods incl. the most recent period)
7. Click the "filter" tab and type "HHVBars(OBV(),21)=0"
(the expression "HHVBars(OBV(),21)" returns the number of periods that have passed since OBV reached its 21 day peak. A result of 0 means that OBV peaked today)
8. Click "ok" and than "explore" and selcect the folder containing your securities

Now run the exploration.
Make sure that the number of periods set in "explorer->options->load..periods" equals the # of periods set in (File-Open->Options->Load ...periods). Otherwise the OBV shown in the exploration and in the chart are not equal

Hope that helps

Jurgen
