Maurice: I think what Tay was implying, is that they will be going with WCDMA. So the statement of "when, and not if," holds true.

The problem in the argument is that the Singapore Government is testing WCDMA and not cdma2000, according to my sources. It aint public, so you 'll have to go and ask them for yourself.

Of course the other operator (M1) is not exactly happy with cdmaOne up take is he. It was partly this that influenced SingTel's announcement not to implement cdmaOne.
