A wonderful piece, right up until he advocates canceling the debt (unless of course he includes my mortgage, second mortgage and credit cards). The fervent religionists would have the world believe that we secularists are the font of evil -- godless so and sos. All I can say is save us from the pious -- those wonderful folks who brought us the inquisition, the mad ayatollahs, the Hindu-Muslim slaughter, the debate in Israel as to who is a real Jew... the drum beat of intolerance goes on and on.
