Tri Bui: SPGLA: I've just gotten SPGLA on the radar screen (probably too late.) I don't think many people here have been following it closely. Can you tell us about it?

Tri Bought in about two weeks ago. The rumor is that Amazon actually needs to develop real value and is looking to acquire SPGL or companies like SPGL. SPGL has an excellent product line. Because of its catalog history (not only SPGL , but also the Eddie Bauer line), SPGL may be easily converted to an E-TAIL company. Yesterdays catalogers are todays 'Net shoppers'. SPGL has had good success with its E-commerce. Thoughts are that if it were hitched up to AMAZON, some synergy would develop. Hanging on for the ride. With the mania over e-commerce these days, SPGL could see some nice highs in the coming weeks. I won't say hold on to your socks, but SPGL could really take off. Article in Business week in the January 16th? issue. I read the article today, and it essentially echoes the above topics. Others have stated that there will be another article to follow on the 25th? Not sure about that. What do you think?? pj
