I've had TCI/@home for a year. It pulls stuff up so fast it's like changing TV channels with a remote. When something is slow, it is always the server at the site I am accessing.

Hi, Sonki,
I'm sure ICQ is better then AOL'S I.M.
But the kicker here is that ALL THE OTHER kids have
AOL. So My kid has to have AOL too. I don't think
all the parents of teens across America will ever
be computer savey enough to download ICQ.
Also the $10. charge is when you get AOL as an
addition to another ISP, i.e. @home. $22.00 is the
fee for regular AOL customers.
If you have TCI, you will be offered @home at some
time it the future when the wiring is in place....If you
are offered Digital Cable, that is the first step;.
I'm going to try ICQ.
Thanks and see you at Dell,
Andy Richter
