Never impossible, Steve. Thought crossed my mind too. Word could have gotten out Bramson is seeking a buyer. That would also explain some of the curious delays.Always have thought AXC would be an intriguing stock to pitch to a cash and equity flush company looking to enter other arenas like say IBM. They could take it private ... use their enormous resources to develop and use patents ... make the DST a de rigeur backup and virtually online visual "archive" and later spin off AXC again and make a killing on the IPO. What glam a developed Ampex would have as an IPO! That said, you just never can expect things like that in my opinion.
