Dave, I recently had a disaster on my hands regarding NT and it turned out that the whole thing started when I put an extra memory bank in which apparently had a different speed than the original card which was still in. I'm mentioning this, since one of the symptoms was that I was unable to boot NT from the CD. If you have two brands of memory in your system, take one of them out.
