CMGI as a deversified internet play... I agree with your comments. CMGI is a strong play in the internet sector because of its positions with several internet companies. The risk of investment is spread out over several companies it has shares in. I would expect over the long term that the price volatility of CMGI will settle out and behave more like the many internet indices with % gains despite the % losses seen in many individual internet issues that trade daily. Usually the individual internet stocks go up and down depending on the day whereas the internet indices continue with gains daily. This is a long term opinion and not a recommendation. Craigoh
