Justa,

Re:AMAT is not valued at trough valuations now anyway

The point I was attempting to make but unable to articulate was that all of the cos in this sector look expensive by historical valuation measures. But we are coming off a period where we saw capex at March '93 levels into a period of large capex for the transition to smaller line widths and 300mm. We are finally seeing some enthusiasm for the group. History has shown us that the gains usually exceed even the most Bullish forecasts, so selling at 2.5X off of trough levels is not for me.

Re:. Sounds like you must think I am an idiot bear

I do not think you are an idiot of any kind. Quite the contrary, you are better informed than most and one who's posts I always click on to try to gain more insight:-))

Regards,

Brian

BTW, I would like nothing more than a consolidation in this area before continuing up(unless of course we have a blowout Q and very positive guidance for the coming Q's)
