Bonnie; 1, I wouldn't count Clinton out ,wait on the counter attack 2, Gore is not any better. 3, The silent majority don't buy into political icons it's mostly a pick between the lesser of the evils. 4, The Republicans taking the high ground on this is not fooling the majority & it's making them disgusted with the system more than with Clinton. 5, In fact despite all the coverage the Majority has stopped looking at it and or switch channels when it comes on. They have been feed up with it for some time, and will turn on the Republicans with a vengeance if they were some how get an impeachment. --------------------- Jim

I think Gore is a better person and would do the right thing in most instances. I read in IBD a couple weeks ago that his personal fortune of 1.8 million is now worth 1.2 mill since taking the office. He's spent about 500k on lawyer's fees and the rest of college tuition for this kid. His money is in a money market account with no money in any investments. He believes that mutual funds/stocks/treasuries/bonds/etc would all be contraindicated for someone in his position. Conflicts of interest. I liked that integrity. I think William Jefferson Clinton has malleable integrity. I think Gore bleeds integrity. I could be snowed and he may be a psycho child molester if investigated, but I don't think so. Besides, he is also an environmentalist and a technophile. I like those qualities also. mike
