Agreed, did not sell many. But how many could you sell with a salesforce of 8 (prior to MYG)? Does not MYG now have the marketing rights to the commercial oven as well (for whatever they're worth)? That aside, if it had any sort of sales potential, surely they would have been able to hire more salespeople. It's called "scaling up". Latest indications are home oven will roll out earlier than expected. For very liberal values of "expected". Also, see latest MYG announcement 1/15. Buying Jade appliance manufacture. Jade makes high end ranges. In same press release TurboChef is mentioned. Ok so over the last 15 months MYG makes deal with TurboChef, then Blodgett, now Jade. WRONG! The PR (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/990115/ia_ca_mayt_1.html) mentions nothing about TurboChef. The AP wire story (http://dailynews.yahoo.com/headlines/ap/financial/story.html?s=v/ap/19990115/bs/maytag_jade_1.html) does, by way of noting MYG's recent growth-oriented nature. There is no implication of a link anywhere. 2+2=4 folks. Right. So why do you insist that it should be more than 11? Basically the shorts are betting the home oven wont sell. Im going with what i have seen with my own two eyes The 'eyes' thing was already tried three years ago. It didn't work. as well as what MYG has supported in their estimates for 2000. So, you're basing on the assumption that 100% of MYG's growth next year will be attributable to TRBO?
