E.
Accelerated X does NOT crash the OS. It will NOT lock it and NOT freeze it. Never have to "Only way out is to reboot". Netscape crashes often is the most serious offender but it NEVER CRASHES AcceleratedX server. there are others.
(I have NEVER seen Roaches do it) Windows will do
this too with some programs. Accelerated X is ALWAYS out of lock up with the OS in its program functions ARE AN ELEGANT DREAM.

E. I run duel display systems at home and at work. Two Displays means I have two Xservers running and I have multiple Netscapes running in multiple desktops on each display.

On the adsl in another post. Is the adsl live 100% of the time or do you still have to connect?

I have used AcceleratedX Multihead for over three years with versions of Redhat, Caldera and Suse Linux distributions. I've used it with about a dozen different video cards. I even set multihead with two different manufacture's video cards. ALL of the statements of the first paragraph are true.
