I have no idea how fast ADSL is, nor how fast cable is supposed to be, but all I know is the difference between my old dialup connection and the new @HOME connection is amazing. Here I download an 18MB file in 2 minutes: ftp> get cp32e45.exe 200 PORT command successful. 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for cp32e45.exe (18650242 bytes). 226 BINARY Transfer complete. ftp: 18650242 bytes received in 121.77Seconds 153.16Kbytes/sec. I don't see how the local ISPs will be able to compete with ATHM. Best investment I've ever made. Now if I could just get back that stock I sold earlier this year! :-) -jsc
