Investment advice from me? I have always been attracted to small, down-trodden stocks. Stocks which seem to only have upside potential. And stocks that have a story. A product, service or asset with a compelling story. This is Speculative, value investing. In the last two years I have done poorly. The action has been with the S&P and lately with the internet stocks. (Don't get me started on these balloons . . .) I've got money in TIII, MDXR, GENZL, AURA, CO, CLPA, IFSIA, and of course IAPI. I've a big profit in IFSIA and am going to sell it. CLPA is speculative and the potential is unlimited. They may have an effective treatment for tumor cancers. Or, they may have nothing. That's the risk of course. If their drug targeting a hitherto unknown process to cause abnormal cells to die without significant side effects proves true, this stock will be in AMZN territory. CO is a great company and is doing well. TIII and MDXR are way down, but I'm holding. GENZL is another biotech that is way down and I can't explain why. Niether can anyone else on the GENZL thread. This may be one to jump in the next few weeks. (Or not. . . .) The only one I'm angry with myself for buying is AURA. Great ideas. Products with great potential. Crooked, incompetent management. I promised myself to wait until spring to see how their big product - AURAGEN - sells, but I may not wait. I've also money in T, LU, NCR, DIS and others. These big guys have done well. I've got some mutual funds too. This is probably the only thing I know. Buy no-load index funds. Period. They do as well as any managed funds with much lower expenses. There is one other thing I know. If someone is selling investment advice, question why. After all, if they are so smart, why do they need my money? Good luck. Bobb
