The last PR on the Burnt Church deal was last summer. The Indian Tribe Burnt Church built a Bingo Hall in Canada. The hall is complete. Global Games is providing the software for there online gambling. They will receive a % of gross revenues for online gambling for ALL of Canada! The parking lot is not complete because of frozen ground and will be paved in the spring after the thaw. Last I heard they need about $200,000 to complete the remaining construction. The outside paving is a good portion of the expense. The Burnt Church Nation has a web site with phone numbers to call for an up-date. I will try to track down the Web Site for Burnt Church and the PR. Can any body help? BEST, ED

Here is the Burnt Church PR! Could be up and running soon. MINNEAPOLIS (May 22) BUSINESS WIRE -May 22, 1998--Global Games Corp. today announced signing a definitive Letter of Intent with the Burnt Church First Nation of Miramichi, in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada to develop and manage their gaming operations for the next ten years. Burnt Church First Nation's bingo-plex will be located in a beautiful new 600+ seat facility and will be operated under a gaming agreement with the province. Global Games estimates the approximate opening date of the new facility will be mid-July this year. Global Games President Gary Borglund, after meeting Wednesday of this week with First Nation Chief Burton Martin and the Burnt Church Council, stated, "We were very impressed with Chief Martin and the principals of this organization. We anticipate a profitable future for all parties and look forward to working with the many fine people here."
