AR, Actually, I don't think there is anything for he and I to debate. Now we need a bear market to see whether CNBS retains its ratings and ad dollars. As far as whether they are slanted to the bullish side, one need only count the bullish guests as opposed to the bears. And you have to include all the corporate touts on the bull side. When is the last time some CEO or CFO came on and said, "sell this stock now?" Actually, I know the answer to that one. It was when John Templeton and Mark Mobius were on discussing their emerging markets clones. Sir John said, "if I were an investor, I would sell Templeton Emerging Markets (then selling at a 32% premium to its NAV) and buy Templeton Developing Markets (selling at NAV plus a load ranging from zero to 5% depending upon size and from whom you purchased the fund). I remember smiling big time as I was already in that paired trade, though they did not say to short EMF. <G<
