I dont think taking boulder samples from the mineral

train can be compared to taking a 200 ton bulk sample

from the dyke itself. If I am incorrect please advise.

Regards

Any way you cut it or try to put a spin on it by the for or against camps, this weekend Kaisers last words ring loud and clear.75% of value in Russian looking diamonds.Wsp withholding results for to long.Russian employees working for WSP.WSP responding with confirmation of Kaisers values.WSP does have CF results for at least 2 stepout holes and for some strange reason will not release them.WSP sating they do not want to release only partial results. Why not? then this bull bear debate would be over once and for all,Then we would not have to employ Kaiser,Sudhir,Bishop or anybody.AJ andTeevee could start their own news letter for the rest of us lemmings to follow to heaven or hell.BOTTOM LINE DO NOT INVEST MONEY BASED ON THE SI CHATS.

Mineman,
<<<The two '97 bulk-samples gave no indication a 200 ton bulk-sample would recover more than perhaps 1 or 2 diamonds over one carat in weight. Yet supposedly there were 25 stones over 1 carat (or 5 mm) in size up to 10.8 carats (12 mm)!>>>

Not true, however, I shall try and explain: The Winspear release of July 14, 97, (I have included a portion of it below) reported from CF results from drill core, a calculated grade of over 3 carats per tonne. This was done by drawing a line through the size distribution curve obtainable from the diamond recovered and exptrapolating the curve. There is no doubt that the recovery of large stones is implied from this data and explains why the two 100 tonne bulk samples were taken.
If anything, the reported grade 1.14 carats/tonne of the two 100 tonne bulk samples, and the recovery of 22 stones between 1-5 carats and the three big stones, came in below expectations because of under sampling. IMO, the 6000 tonne bulk will most likely be closer to 3 carats per tonne than 1 carat per tonne. Heaven help anyone who stays short this stock because they will be wiped out.

Diamond Grades and Results

Winspear Resources Ltd. (WSP.V) is pleased to report on diamonds recovered by caustic fusion analyses of kimberlite dyke intersections encountered during the Spring drilling program in the Snap Lake area of the Camsell Lake project, N.W.T. The project area is situated 140 miles Northwest of Yellowknife and is a joint venture between Winspear Resources Ltd. (57.3%) - the operator - and Aber Resources Ltd. (42.7%).

During this program, thirteen drill holes intersected kimberlite in a restricted area about 1 km2 on the west side of Snap Lake. A total of 137.14 kg of kimberlite from these intersections was submitted to Lakefield Research Limited for diamond analyses. Three of these intersections were treated for recovery of indicator minerals. Of the total diamonds reported, 383 diamond were recovered and described by Lakefield Research Limited while 18 diamonds were recovered from the indicator mineral concentrate and were described by Winspear's Senior
Mineralogist who has more than 20 years experience in this field. Some general characteristics of these diamonds are as follows:

A.Grade:

The weighted average grade of the thirteen intersections has been calculated as follows:

Macro diamonds (one dimension >0.5mm) = 3.69 carats per tonne

regards,
teevee

That is a totally meaningless comparison!!! After all the discussion we have had on this thread I thought everyone understood that the probabilities of finding large diamonds in drill core, even HQ core, were extremely low.

Are you trying to clear the picture or are you another one on the next shift trying to cloud it?????????
