Will Tues open be like AOL open on Jan 4? On the last day of 98, there was a massive buying program on AOL at the close. On the first day of 98, AOL gapped up a huge amount. Does the buying at the close on MSFT indicate that we are going to gap up in anticipation of earnings/ split(?)....

Ed, I usually don't like short term options trading unless there is an
earnings announcement before expiration. However, I was not able to do
this for January calls.

What do you invest in ---stock or leaps (and which ones). I am looking
to get into some leaps to avoid the day to day volatility.
