Bit: Can you say, "vaporware?"

I think you have nicely exposed Transpoint's lack of product and lousy customer service system all in a single stroke. Nice going.

If you have Gary Craft's e-mail address, send him a copy of your post.

A one month response time -- lightning speed compared to TrashPoint's timing on the delivery of an actual (rather than beta-test) product to its so-called customers. Early 1999 has replaced early 1998 (and probably earlier promises) as the launch date. I would not define a more likely December as early, then again it may mean early 2000. They must have a peculiar Y1.9K problem.
Lying about competition, inability to hold on to top management, lack of trust among the banking community, partnership with a gorilla bank with its desire to gobble competition, lack of initial reliability of its new products, mediocre record on customer service, anti-competitive tendencies as pointed out by the DOJ, etc.....If you were a bank or other financial institution would you want to do business with these sharks?; also, in the process, to reveal the names and financial transactions of all your accounts to this smoke-and-mirror organization. If a reasonable person knew his billing data were going to TrashPoint, wouldn't he want to put a stop to it?; almost an argument for "Checkfree Inside," if it wasn't so expensive.

P,S. Finally, if you were a bank would you want to put important customer service (hence your image) in the hands of a man (that be Mr. William Gates) who referred to you as "dinosaurs." If I were you, I would rather show him my teeth (and CKFR's) and hope for his eventual extinction.
