Mr Brophy

Do Geoworks and Cadence meet your criteria?

Before I expend energy doing a paragraph write-up, I am going to bounce the companies names off of you. Then you can tell em if they're acceptable or not, before I go off and spend time on a write up.

Mark,

Great job on running the contest!

My second pick is Applix (APLX). Applix is a cheap stock with a $50,000,000.00 market capitalization. They have $2.00 a share in cash and no debt.

Applix has great UNIX and Linux Front Office application programs and their Applixware office suite is excellent. IBM, Oracle and others are porting applications to Linux and this may get Linux to the desktop in a big way. If this happens APLX will be in a great position to sell its applications, and very rapid growth will follow.
