Manzanillo--

Nice find.

The cost of robots had to be tremendous. The fix must be done or there will have to be 4 people available to replace each one on a 24 hour schedule! Even at that productivity would suffer. GM has robots on some assembley lines--- TAVA should <gg> have some experience in that dept.

Many small companies are still in the same shape as some overseas companies. The hype, fear, and frenzy will be fed from every news article IMO and that will drive the price of Y2K stocks much higher...

Manzanillo: The S. Florida small manufacturers seem exactly the kind of situation that the MEP agreement addresses. Too small to hire a TAVA, but too big to do nothing. It is a reason that I remain optimistic that TAVA will sign more MEP-style agreements. There are lots and lots of small situations where "MEPPING" makes sense all the way round.
