Have your broker explain puts to you and purchase some puts (Pick any stock) and protect your long position that way. You will sleep better at night with this approach. Good trading, JEB

i dont short, so hardly my interest. i really wish people would refrain from attacking anyone here. we're adults, we can figure this stuff out for ourselves. if joe could move a stock down so easily, im sure he'd do it every day, if he wanted to short something. you give him much too much power, and the rest of us too little credit, IMO. by the way, im looking forward to a nice run on NAVR soon. good luck
