I've not been able to discern what part of AMZN is proprietary and protectable. Cramer
claims it is doing the right things to own lots of new internet markets before anyone else.
I wonder if it's more like staking out more territory than can be defended reasonably.
I'm withholding judgement on AMZN.

musea,

I can only state I lost a lot of money shorting AMZN. Clearly, I do not understand and it has given me more than one headache to say the least.

I am now watching AMZN and long AOL.

Glenn

To all: I have little doubt that AOL, at the right price, will be a superb investment. Having missed the recent manic price-climb, however, I am waiting for the (inevitable?) correction. Does anyone doubt that sooner or later AOL will be available for significantly less than today's price? Your various opinions are welcome. Thank you.
