I've not been able to discern what part of AMZN is proprietary and protectable. Cramer
claims it is doing the right things to own lots of new internet markets before anyone else.
I wonder if it's more like staking out more territory than can be defended reasonably.
I'm withholding judgement on AMZN.

Dave,

I have concluded the majority of "investors" in these stocks have no fundamental clue about them nor do they care. They just ride the momentum. I also found that researching and learning about these connections such as Softbanks with YHOO and Kleiner Perkins with AMZN means nothing anymore.

I just need someone to tell me when to buy and when to sell<VBG>

Glenn

Any idea, Dave why the SEC has done nothing about the Ziff/Softbank?YHOO love triangle? I'm not Elliott Ness, but anyone with half a brain would think that this "situation" would seem to call for at least some kind of Federal "interest" in what the hell's really going on....

Maybe in fact that is actually happening, and we'll all wake up one day soon to read how the SEC has launched an investigation into the potential conflict re. Ziff-Davis funds going through Softbank, etc., etc. Think about what kind of carnage that kind of headline would wreak. YHOO would lose 100 points in twenty minutes, IMO....
