John,

I still recall last September when crude jumped a couple of bucks. For example: GIFI went from $9 on 9/1/98 to $18 on 9/28/98 and NE went from $10.75 on 8/31/98 to $17 9/16 on 9/14/98.

In the previous report I was talking averages. There will be spikes up and down and intermediate trend changes which will cause significant price movements. I think crude has already seen the bottom for this long-term cycle and the trend will be modestly up.

I like the whole OSX at this juncture and anyone with the money, guts and patience will be rewarded short, intermediate and long term.
I still like GIFI because it has no debt and has to be ahead of the line if and when TEXACO/Marathon along with the insurers decide to replace the PETRONIUS module. Volume has dropped to a trickle and all it will take is a spark for this one to ignite and show a significant percentage gain.
