Impristine, If I remember correctly, a blue moon is when there are two full moons within the same calendar month. The 2nd full moon is known as a blue moon. FWIW, talk to you later Regards, Frank

it is when there is a 2nd true full mood in March clear around the world, not just in the U.S. (& some say the 2nd full moon must also look "blue" from smoke or such in the air).
