Preferred Trade is a great broker. They don't offer order route choices like SOES, SelectNet, etc. but the algorithm they use is extremely efficient at executing orders. For this reason, I think they are more suited for short-term traders, not day traders who need to get in and out in a matter of minutes. Their software is windows-based and it can be used in conjunction with any quote package.

IF you trade options or plan to in the future, Preferred's electronic order routing for options is unmatched.

We have been recommending them for about 18 months and have yet to recieve any negative feedback. If you are frustrated by browser-based brokers, Preferred will be a breath of fresh air.
