William Hammond: I have noticed that in many of Yahoo's quarterly earnings reports, their cash goes up more than their earnings go up. This is a real mystery to me. Why is this? Isn't an increase of cash of say $50 million for a quarter worth more than an earnings increase of, say, $30 million? Also, what did Yahoo's cash do in the latest quarter just reported? Thanks in advice for any input.
