Every once in awhile.... well, frequently.... I get private messages saying something like "Hey, I'm not qualified to comment in public, and I don't want to look silly (or pollute the rationale, take your choice of spirit), but does this make sense?" Just want to mention that analysis is both data gathering and insight, and non-biologists/non-chemists have been providing me with great leads at SI for a long time. There is no question too dumb, IMO, if it's bringing something objective to a thread and it's on-topic. Cheers! Rick
