William:

I am also a very longtime holder of Dell.Have been through ALOT of stock splits since holding this jewel through the years.

I have attended many analyst-Brokerage firm conferences last yr in Scottsdale,Az. ,the Alex Brown conf. in Baltimore, AEA in San Diego,Soundview Tech. Conf. in Boca Raton ...etc. With that said I am expecting DELL to pre-announce great earnings sometime before the Quarter ends(Jan31). I am set to start traveling to San Francisco to the NB Montgomery Tech Conf. and I'm expecting MD to let out some pretty crazy stats that people will be awing about for a couple Quarters.Alot of people I speak to tend to think that DELL sand-bagged their last Quarter so they can BLOW,I mean really BLOW the estimates through the roof this Quarter!! This will cause the mkt. and of course all the leading tech stocks to soar.

Keep up your great posts as I gave it a shot with my posts many months ago only to be belittled by jealousy.

As somebody said many months ago, DELL is the next DELL!

Marci

Never said that you weren't truthful. I said that you are a blowhard and I stand by that evaluation. Go look up "blowhard" in the dictionary and you'll find that it means boaster or braggart, which is exactly what you are. El

William, the point is that when people get into the habit of discussing their personal wealth then it starts to come up in every little debate about whoevers point of view is correct. I have been in that position myself many times and Im tired of people saying things like, "Michelle, your opinion on software is wrong, I have made 15 million in software, how much are you worth, blah blah blah" Do you really think it adds something, and if so, what?
