Captain Jack---Reviewed the WLA threads back to the beginning of December, 1998. The same story, but 45 days old. This information, I believe, has already been reflected in the price of the stock, back in December. I view any recent decline as an over-reaction by fund managers with a follow the heard mentality. The investment landscape is littered with underperforming fund managers who mistakenly sell on bad press that isn't really any news at all. I could be wrong, of course, but I've got a 100 call bet on the Feb 75 and April 75 calls. The challenge, of course, is that I could be absolutely right on the analysis, but off six months in my timing. Irrespective of the recent adverse but repetitive story on Resulin, the Company's earnings growth rate is outstanding as are the prospects for additional Lipitor revenue growth. If the stock ticks up to 80 before Feb expiration, I'll sell the Feb 80 calls, locking in profits on my February call position. If the stock ticks to 85 before April, I'll sell the April 85 or 90 calls, if I can do it at favorable prices, locking in the profit on the April call position. Just one way to play this without taking a long position of 10,000 shares and the burdonsome capital requirements. Good luck with your investment.
