I believe that they cleared inventory of the reject 300/333 chips before the end of the quarter. I think it was said in the CC. Watch these chips start showing up in E-machines. Perfect for them, cheap CPU, Cheap 66 Mhz RAM, cheap mobo= cheap PC that sells like hotcakes.

I also believe they made more than 5.5 million chips, more like 5.8.
For some reason these 300k were kicked over into the next qtr.
I think they were higher MHz chips, i.e. 400MHz. Like you said, the 400 MHz chips seem to be more plentiful now.

I'm sure the reject chips made yields look a whole lot better...which fooled a lot of poeple. At least they didb't have to trash can them...
