Alas, poor Emile, I have just been reading special education papers, about how people, especially young people, can learn to function in a none too hospitable world. You seem, like all of us, a wonderful example of the mild-to-profoundly damaged youth with many strengths, a good mind, but a twisted moral instrument. Your identification with one apparition of the Christ has broiled your mind -- and your hatred of others -- especially the Jews -- shows that there is no way you that you could have an iota of the man Jesus in your soul. The strategies taught injured or deficient persons (or us, for none of us is perfect) include self-evaluation, self leadership, goal setting, self monitoring, and self-reinforcement, self-management (of control theory) team formation, peer evaluation, peer learning, teaching instruction, and rejoicing (or self gratification). I can't write the book here, but you are in the stage of "talking out" and are not spending enough time "on task." fixing up your mind. Were you our colleague here, instead of an angry, handicapped child intent by screaming to break up our team, we'd have to time you out. If you do not eventually gain self control (and this you you must learning yourself through self leadership), you will be rejected by the people and the team, and must wander howling in some self-discovered wilderness until time leads you up your personal calvary and nails you to your star. What all of us here fear, I think, is that you will flip into the acting out stage. That you will attack a person with hurtful words, or swords, or spears, or fire. You'll torch a synagogue, or shame some public figure, or strike some vulnerable child with cruelty. Your babbling here is tolerable (though unpleasing) by us. We are professionals from many points of view, or amateurs with a strong commitment to learn. We asked for it. We knew there would be nuts wandering in off the streets, drinking our coffee and eating our donuts, but our coffee's very hot, and we cannot have our street guests dash it, uncooled, into our faces. If you think your labeling of pure philosophy as blasphemy has any value in the scheme of thought, you're wrong. Jesus might as well mind devils of greed howling from the pit of hell. I beseech you to take charge of yourself. Mend your mind. Define your psersonal goals. Increase your time on task (reward yourself when you've done a post that elicits understanding ort even praise from other travelers on the road. In the inn at night, while pilgrims tell the stories of their lives, essay to tell some tale about your real of ideal self yourself -- not how you gassed some Jewish family in camp, only God in Heaven can forgive you for that, and many of us doubt that he's even there. But a tale of how you helped some widow with a sick child, or gave the blind man sight, or helped the cripple walk. That's the Jesus people love -- not mad man mounted in power, damning millions of goats to hell. Farewell.
