Vikes would have won the game if Anderson had not missed the field goal. That was a great turn of events for Broncs - easier to handle Falcons.

Jets D was decent. Special teams stuck badly. Mistakes (turnovers) killed them. Just what I was afraid of - too many turnovers (4 fumbles that counted and 2 late meaningless int's). Jets offense was quite disappointing, specially in first half. They should have been up by at least 10 to 13 points going into half time, while Denver offense was sputering. Denver D and special teams rose to the occassion and made the difference.

Broncs offense will not get held down two games in a row. Shanahan will have 2 weeks of preparation and that is a big ouch for any opponent. Considering Reeves' record of getting blown out in superbowls, it will be the same story in two weeks.

Jets mistakes ruined it...plus no running game. Jets looked worse than I expected. They have been real good second half of the year. Bill's boys with the fumbles and that kick off disaster were the killers imo.

it was not the d that caused the jets the game. the kickoff fumble and other turnovers were to much for any d to overcome.

g.b. and minni are two more teams that prove the prevent defense can more easily lose you the game than what kept you in the lead. both minni and g.b. lost the game, more than s.f. and atl won against them. i knew the kiss of death was coming when one of the announcers commented on how well the vikings were executing the prevent defense. the only time i am in favor of the prevent d, is if the qb is not accurate.
