billwot. Record snowfall. I am used to that and take this anytime compared to an ice storm. I didn't have to go out in the beginning so things looked wonderful early Friday morning, despite no electricity. Trees and bushes and everything looked absolutely great and I really should have taken some pictures of it all like Barry did when he was in one of those things. I am sure I will never see that again. I got lucky with my house but sustained some damage with my trees and bushes. One tree in my back yard may have to go. It got split by lightning a cpl of years ago and it did not take this stuff too kindly. Lots of branches down on my other trees especially from my great big Oak. But some of my neighbors did worse.

On the second night things looked more like doomsday. gg. I know that way up North things have been bad many times and you really never know what's going on until you experience it yourself. Bad snow storms are a blessing compared to what we had here. Our suburb of DC got hit the hardest. Traffic was a mess and still is in places. A lot of those intersections, big and small, have to be treated like four way stop signs.

I am glad the markets are not open tomorrow. I am not ready to fool with my stocks. gg.
