Mike, the $200 billion plus the tobacco companies are paying,
MSFT's antitrust trial, Hillary's health initiatives- these
things weren't fantasies to the shareholders who suffered
several years of tobacco underperformance, to those who
watched MRK go to $27 a share, or to those worried that
the government might handcuff MSFT's internet strategy.
Although most of these were short term in nature in retrospect-
the pain at the time was no less severe. If you think Gore
is a friend of the oil industry, this could be one more
reason to add or maintain long positions. Now that Iraq will
be adding to ample supply, this is a great time to jump in.
Good luck and good night.
