"( I am still on modem, cable will come next spring to our community)." Chief.. I know what you are saying here but you will still be on modem with cable. Been on cable for over a year. Just that you will need a cable modem instead of a line modem all the phone users are now using. Of course you will still use that line modem after you get cable when using your computer for fax, etc. I was using a friends new 450 PII IBM with 128 ram etc. this weekend and downloaded some things for him. He only has access to line. I could not believe how long it took to download. What I do in 2-3 min on a 166 PI, it took this 450 1 1/2 hrs. Unbelievable! I really have a better appreciation for those still on line. PS.. With that system on cable, "WATCH OUT FOR THE CHIEF"...LOL JIm
